Ngezi Platinum Stars interim head coach Takesure Chiragwi is keen to see his side maintain the positive trajectory which has seen Madamburo go for 5 league matches without tasting defeat when the platinum miners face Harare City at the National Sports Stadium on Saturday.
The platinum miners travel to Harare on the back of a scintillating 3 nil win over ZPC Kariba and Ngezi Platinum Stars gaffer Takesure Chiragwi is hopeful that his charges will again be on the front-foot when they meet Harare City, “We really need to finish in a respectable position and we are not going to be pushovers. We are going there to fight so that we get maximum points and to keep the run that we are having”.
Although Ngezi Platinum head into Saturday’s fixture on a high, Chiragwi is weary of the threat that might be posed by the Sunshine Boys, “It is a tricky game to be honest with you because those guys they have something to play for. They are fighting relegation and it is not going to be a walk in the park because they really need to win that game so that they can survive relegation” said Chiragwi.
Ngezi Platinum have won their last 4 league encounters and another victory on Saturday will see Madamburo making it 5 wins out 5. After leapfrogging Highlanders into 4th position following last weekends win over ZPC Kariba Madamburo will be looking to cement their place in the top 4.
Madamburo has a clean bill of health heading into Saturday’s fixture which will see Ngezi Platinum fans keen to see their favourite team securing another positive result.
